If you recall Greek mythology at all, you'll remember that Hera is the wife (and one of three sisters) of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon. Her chief function being that of Goddess of women and marriage. At loggerheads with Roman equivalent, Aphrodite too by all accounts. To the here and now though, and 'Bird of Hera' is Kerry Darlington's hugely illustrative version of brand new Spring 2015 compositional events and is as visually dramatic as we've grown to anticipate with every new release by the critically acclaimed contemporary fine artist. As always, the devil is in the detail with any artwork which bears Darlington's signature (a mere 295 of these limited editions will flaunt such an in-demand moniker too might we add), and this gregariously imagined and crafted hand embellished and glossed unique edition represents the very latest release by the long-admired North Walian artisan. We strongly urge all interested parties to convey their intent at their first convenience, given the habitual clamour for every new Darlington unveil, via the usual channels.
