Often inspired as much from a line or a quote from one of her favourite childhood books which she's revisited with regularity over the years, Kerry Darlington can stumble upon the most obscure of starting points when it comes down to the where, why, what and when of the conceptual beginnings of a new piece. The much admired and hugely collectable contemporary fine artist's brand new Spring 2015 release is probably no exception to that rule of thumb, and can be observed here for the first time ahead of its imminent release. Simply entitled 'Cherry Blossom', this colourful and characteristically ebulent pictorial piece has witnessed the same creative labouring over by the award-winning Darlington, having explicitly been exposed to a hand embellished and glossed end game which typically befits the very illustrative Unique Edition application and description which is afforded every bespoke Darlington composition. Be aware from the outset though, that demand will be as high as ever, not least on account of iterations being strictly limited to just 295 editions of this individually-signed pictorial from launch.
