For once there’s not a single tree, keepsake, gemstone, mythical creature and/or fictitious literary character within a 40 inch radius of this brand spanking new painting straight from the celebrated palette and selective brushes of a certain leading contemporary fine artist going by the name of Kerry Darlington. Not that this is a bad thing; on the contrary. As despite choosing to overlook her more habitual subject matters, the hugely popular Darlington has instead allowed some lovely and visually descriptive abstract patterns to form and flow across this, her latest frame. Entitled ‘Moon Valley’, this hand embellished and glossed study is quite the departure for Darlington, and is individually signed in all of its strictly limited 95 editions.
